Day 13 of March 2013 Blog Challenge - Do You Have a Regret
03/13/2013 23:23I do not have any regrets. I believe that everything happens for a reason. : )
Life is what we make it!
I do not have any regrets. I believe that everything happens for a reason. : )
I miss Tito's Tacos in Culver City! I miss being young and not having a worry in the world. I miss having that drive and energy to work out even though I didn't need to. It's funny how that works out... I've had 2 children and absolutely need to work out, but do not because I'm soooo lazy!!! I miss eating anything and everything and not having to worry about gaining weight and having my cholesterol go up. I miss working and not really having any major bills to pay. I miss my daughters being small. I miss my dad carrying me to bed and tucking me in. I miss my mom braiding my hair. I miss not having wrinkles. I miss hanging out with particular friends. I miss taking last minute trips to San Francisco. I miss being in nursing school. I miss walking the hills of Burbank.
The last book I read was Safe Haven.
Wake up, brush my teeth and wash my face, make breakfast for my daughter and I, give her a bath, take a shower, skin care and makeup, get a snack/lunch ready, hair, bring my little mama downstairs to my father-in-law, kiss them, see patient(s) if any, pick up my older daughter from school, grab a snack for her and/or drop her off at home, then head to my full-time job. After I'm through with work, I drive home, brush my teeth, wash up, skin care, check my IG, watch YouTube, and hit the sack.
My life list/bucket list consists of: going to South Africa, go on an Alaskan cruise, meet Ami James, and go on a family mission. I don't really have anything crazy my list for now but that may change! We shall see! : )
I have plenty, but if I had to choose just one it would have to be when people start sweeping, mopping, wiping the table while I am still having my meal.
My dream job would be to be a giver.
I bought dinner for my staff last night, Tuesday, 03/05/13. It was not a fancy shmancy dinner, but hey! I they deserved something that would not clog their arteries as badly or give them a worse case of hypertension. Juan Pollo is better than full fat, high calorie, and high sugar content meal any day! : D
Have a blessed day : )
Beaches, Home Alone 1 and 2, Dying Young, Italian Job, My Best Friend's Wedding, Frida, Philadelphia
My best childhood memory has to be summer time in the late 80's. We had a big pool in he backyard and after eating breakfast and "resting" for 30 minutes, we change into our swim suits and head straight to the pool. I did not know how to swim but just being able to hang out in the water with my sisters was awesome. : ) We didn't have a care in the world. We'd stay out there practically the whole day; we'd only go in to have lunch. Of course we go made fun of because we looked like burnt toast at the end of the summer. I have home videos to prove it. I will post photos if I can find any.
Have a blessed day!
